Installing Semi Inground Pools

Why should you buy a Semi Inground Pool?

There are many good reasons to buy a Semi Inground Pool: price, ease of installation, homeowners association approval (sometimes a tough nut to crack), style, functionality, durability, and cost of maintenance. It may seem that the Semi Inground pool is a compromise between above ground and inground. However, it shares many of the benefits of above ground and inground pools, especially considering cleaning (easy in above ground pools) and price (cheaper than inground pools).

Ease of installation:

A semi-inground pool may not be as easy to install as an above ground pool. However, they are usually larger in size, and require a little bit of ground work. However, an inground pool is very expensive, hard to install, and requires licensing and approval. The semi-inground pool is a much better alternative. Also, there is a low risk of hitting electrical lines or cables in your backyard. Terrain also poses less of a problem, since inground pools needs specific areas to support their building.

Style:

Above ground pools do not look all that great. The big walls on the size are sure to make it stick out of your garden or backyard like a sore thumb. An inground pool looks very nice, however and blends in with your backyard. This is where the semi-inground pool can be a lifesaver. You can build it partly into the ground, and put decking around it, making a beautiful addition to your backyard or house.

Cleaning:

Semi-inground pools are much cleaner than their inground counterparts. Since they rise higher off the ground than an inground pool, they are not vulnerable to insects or floor and terrain. Since the walls are usually composite, no weld and corrosion resistance, the lining stays clean and sanitary.

Adding Value:

If you choose to add decking and beautify the sides of the pool, you may also add a lot of value to your house. As you can see in the pictures below, the decking really gives the pool a lot of style and beauty, integrating well with the garden.

This is interesting. It looks a lot like stuff you could accomplish with an above ground pool. It's pretty cool, though.
